When you’re expecting “Buonasera,” a word
too easily confused with the more familiar
“Buongiorno,” a word ready on the tongue,
“Buon ritorno” will throw you for a loop
if spoken by your neighbor, the customed-
made shirt lady from the shop downstairs.
In the words of the great old Mac Wiseman song, “Tis sweet to be remembered.”
Of course your comment revealed yet again the woeful state of my “musical education.” And so, naturally, I headed off to YouTube to hear the treats it held in store. And there, predictably, the “Changes to YouTube’s Terms of Service” were blazoned at length in Italian.
Anyway, loving the instrumentation, the voice, and the songs!
