Signs would appear to say, cycling path junction ahead: Assisi to Spoleto; Spoleto to Norcia.
No bicycles allowed.

The first of many reasons I am loathe to drive in Italy:
Signs would appear to say, cycling path junction ahead: Assisi to Spoleto; Spoleto to Norcia.
No bicycles allowed.
Throw in a good run-a-round and you’d have a perfect storm (of confusion).
Amen. And they have plenty of them.
